Software
OpenPLC or Arduino, with the same libraries
ModBee boards are programmed in OpenPLC with ladder, function block diagram or structured text, or in Arduino and PlatformIO. Both use the same ModBee libraries for MQTT and Sparkplug B, Modbus, BeeBus, cellular and over-the-air updates.
Libraries
The libraries
Free for personal use, with commercial licences available. Source code and documentation are on GitHub.
ModBee MQTT
MQTT 5.0 and 3.1.1 client, broker and bridge, with Sparkplug B 3.0. Runs on the board and on a Linux server.
mod-bee/modbee-mqttBeeBus
Peer-to-peer bus that carries Modbus registers and publish/subscribe topics over RS485, radio or UDP, with no master.
mod-bee/modbee-beebusModBee Modbus
Modbus RTU, ASCII and TCP, client and server, plus a TCP-to-serial bridge. Non-blocking, every value tagged with a quality.
mod-bee/modbee-modbusModBee GSM
Cellular modems over AT commands: Arduino TCP and UDP clients, modem TLS, SMS and GNSS for SIMCom modules.
mod-bee/modbee-gsmModBee OTA
Firmware updates over MQTT and Sparkplug B, checked by CRC and SHA-256, with automatic rollback.
mod-bee/modbee-otaOpenPLC libraries
OpenPLC Editor blocks for every library above and the Node UIO's I/O, plus ready-made blocks for pumps, motors, valves and alarms.

ModBee Platform
An industrial platform for building apps, dashboards, HMI and SCADA: one modular platform, extended with plugins, that you host yourself. It collects readings from ModBee nodes and any other MQTT or Sparkplug B device.
