Power HAT
HAT PS AC/DC
Isolated mains supply: 85-500 VAC in, 24 VDC out
Powers a Node UIO stack straight from the mains, with no separate DIN-rail power supply. The wide input range covers single-phase and line-to-line on 230/400 V three-phase, and two 24 V terminals feed field devices such as sensors and transmitters.

Overview
What it does
It uses only the supply and ground pins of the HAT headers and passes everything else through, so any other HAT can sit on it.
An external slow-blow fuse rated for the supply voltage is required on the input. Installation must be done by a qualified person, in a suitable enclosure, to AS/NZS 3000. Not suitable for 480 V systems.
Features
- 85-500 VAC 50/60 Hz or 100-700 VDC input
- 24 VDC, 800 mA, 20 W, shared between the Node UIO and two output terminals
- 3000 VAC isolation, class II
- Short-circuit, overload and over-temperature protection, all self-resetting
- 1 A resettable fuse on the 24 V output, and a diode that stops back-feed into the stack

Software
What runs it
None needed. The Node UIO runs from the HAT's 24 V output as soon as the mains is on.
